Pantone dedicated 2 shades to Ukraine – «free blue» and «energetic yellow»

The Pantone Color Institute dedicated two shades to Ukraine and allocated funds to help refugees. This information is in Pantone Instagram profile.
A picture of a sunflower and the flag of Ukraine was published in the account of the Institute of Colour. The colours, according to the Pantone, were named «free blue» and «energetic yellow».

The institute also said that its parent company, Danaher, has committed USD $1 million to Global Giving, Save the Children and the International Rescue Committee, organizations that are able to meet the needs of the public today.
The statement said: «As more than 1 million Ukrainians currently seeking refuge in neighbouring countries, there is an immense need for food, water, shelter and medical care. We are committed to doing what we can to support the health, safety and dignity of refugees and all those who advocate on their behalf».

Two independent publishers have reportedly set up an initiative to help refugee children from Ukraine.
The London Bookstore is also holding a charity sale to help Ukrainian refugees.
