The Literatura intensive summer course, held June 6-July 25, 2024, will explore how writers and editors throughout Ukrainian literature’s history have fought against the Russian Empire through their writing.

“The course is designed with no expectation of prior knowledge, yet even seasoned readers of Ukrainian literature will find plenty to ponder. Each seminar will be delivered by an expert in Ukrainian literature, including leading academics from Ukraine, the UK, and the US. All seminars will be held in English and all texts will be made available to enrolled students in English translation and the original,” the description says.

The Literatura intensive summer course is remote and will be held via Zoom.
