In Sweden, money from the sales of poetic anthology will be donated to Zhadan’s charity

In Sweden, a poetic anthology Dikter has been published. Money from its sales will be donated to Serhiy Zhadan’s charity project in Kharkiv. This was announced on publisher’s, Bokförlaget Korpen, website.

The books features 102 poets from around the world. Among them there are: Katrin Askan (Germany), Svetlana Cârstean (Romania), Lina Ekdahl (Sweden), Helena Eriksson (Sweden), Jila Mossaed (Sweden), Göran Greider (Sweden), Gunnar D Hansson (Sweden), Wioletta Greg (Poland), Jarosław Mikołajewski (Poland), Tehila Hakimi (Israel), Volha Hapeyeva (Belarus), Dmitri Plax (Belarus), Ilya Kaminsky (USA), Steinar Opstad (Norway) and many others.

The forword is written by Karin Brygger and Helga Krook, and the final word’s written by Johan Öberg.

“The poem can convey the resilience and humanity. Free poetry protects the freedom of speech by the the fact of its existence,” is said about the book on the website.

It shall be reminded that in Poland the anthology Babel’s Language featuring Ukrainian fantasy in Polish will be published.
