2025 Chytomo Award reveals nominees advancing past technical selection

2025 Chytomo Award for outstanding achievements in book publishing, has revealed the list of organizations and cultural figures that passed the technical selection stage.

 

A total of 82 applications were submitted for the 2025 award, with 65 successfully passing the technical evaluation. This year highlights a pattern of repeated nominations, as several organizations suggested the same initiatives or individuals again.

 

The highest number of submissions (45.1%) were in the category “Book Initiative for the Promotion of Reading.”

 

Breakdown of applications by category:

“Ambassador of Ukrainian Books” — 22 (26.8%).

The Chytomo Award, recognizing outstanding achievements in the Ukrainian book publishing and literary sphere, was launched in 2023. The award is presented annually toward the end of the year to honor the most remarkable achievements which contribute to the development of the book market and the industry as a whole, as well as to the promotion of reading.
