Ukrainian publishers with the highest number of books published in 2025

KSD Publishing House (KSD) released more titles than any other Ukrainian publisher in 2025, releasing 743 titles with a total print run of 3.1 million copies, according to data from the Ukrainian Book Chamber provided in response to a request from Chytomo.

The Ukrainian Book Chamber received 15,069 titles in 2025 with a combined print run of 33.2 million copies. The total included 13,464 books and 1,605 brochures. Overall, 701 publishing entities submitted materials to the Book Chamber.

By number of titles, KSD was followed by the Kharkiv-based publisher Folio, which released 639 titles with a print run of 577,800 copies. Ranok ranked third with 469 titles and a print run of 2.8 million copies, followed by Vivat with 413 titles and 1.6 million copies, and the Ternopil-based publisher Bohdan with 381 titles and 780,600 copies.

Among the 20 publishers with the highest number of titles were The Old Lion Publishing House with 374 titles, Tvory with 255, Helvetyka with 238, L. S. Stasiuk with 234, and Ridna Mova with 227. Other publishers in the ranking included Pravo Publishing House with 198 titles, Nilan-LTD with 188, Nash Format with 181, Stem Osvita and OLDI+ with 157 each, Lira-K with 154, Crystal Book with 151, RAST-7 with 145, 7БЦ with 144, and Condor Publishing with 139 titles.

In terms of total circulation, KSD took first place with 3.1 million copies. It was followed by Ranok with 2.8 million copies, Stem Osvita with 2.7 million, Genesa with 2.7 million, and Vivat with 1.6 million copies.

The top 10 publishers with the highest total print runs also included the Ukrainian Educational Publishing Center Orion with 1.3 million copies, Lingvist with 1.25 million, The Old Lion Publishing House with 1 million, Genesa with 1 million, and Ridna Mova with 929,900 copies.

The top 20 publishers by total print run also included Intellect of Ukraine with 807,400 copies, Bohdan with 780,600 copies, Litera with 683,300 copies, Aston with 638,600 copies, Crystal Book with 594,000 copies, Folio with 577,800 copies, BookChef with 524,700 copies, Shkola Publishing House with 501,300 copies, Alaton with 498,800 copies, and the Akademia Publishing Center with 448,700 copies.

The list of the top 20 publishers with the highest print runs also includes Intellect of Ukraine, Bohdan, Litera, Aston, Crystal Book, Folio, BookChef, Shkola, Alaton, and the Akademia Publishing Center.
