Russia destroys 45 educational institutions in the Kyiv region alone

Russian occupation forces have destroyed and demolished at least 45 educational institutions in the Kyiv region, the humanitarian headquarters of the Kyiv region reported on Telegram.

«In recent days, hostile attacks have damaged educational institutions in the Dmytrivska, Petrivska, Velykodymerska, and Makarivska communities», – said Oleksiy Kuleba, head of the Kyiv Regional Administration.

Russian occupiers destroyed and damaged:

•  3 vocational and technical schools
•  25 secondary schools
•  14 preschools
•  3 extracurricular schools
•  Department of Education of the Borodyanka Territorial Community

Kuleba also noted that complete information on the state of educational institutions in the Polissya, Ivankivska, Piskivska, and Dymerska territorial communities is currently impossible to obtain due to lack of communication.

The russians have been bombing and shelling schools since the beginning of the war. According to the latest data, more than 500 educational institutions have been damaged. In addition, one of the largest libraries in Ukraine and Europe was damaged.
