The Ukrainian Institute joined the European Union National Institutes for Culture

The European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) has accepted the Ukrainian Institute as an associate member. This is reported on the official website of the institution.

The Ukrainian Institute became the 39th member of the association.

 

The day before the EUNIC general assembly, the International Cultural Diplomacy Forum 2022 was held in Brussels, organized by the Ukrainian Institute, Jam Factory Art Center and the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union with the support of the Prague Civil Society Centre.

 

EUNIC is a European network of organizations engaged in cultural diplomacy. Together with a wide range of partners, it implements European cultural cooperation in more than 100 countries of the world through 136 clusters, relying on the wide experience of its members from all EU Member States and associated countries.

 

EUNIC strengthens the role of culture in international relations and is a strategic partner of the European Union. It is a key network of cultural diplomacy in Europe and a platform for joint initiatives and exchange of experiences. The geography of EUNIC’s activities is not limited to Europe only: the network operates in more than 100 countries of the world through 136 clusters.

 

EUNIC advocates for the prominent role of culture in international relations and is a strategic partner of the European Union, actively involved in defining European cultural policy.

 

EUNIC is a platform for knowledge exchange and capacity building among its members and partners. Through culture, EUNIC aims to build trust and mutual understanding between people in Europe and around the world.
