Timothy Snyder adds chapter about russian-Ukrainian war to book on 20 lessons from the 20th century

American historian Timothy Snyder has added 20 new lessons about Ukraine and russia’s war on Ukraine to his audiobook edition of On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century. He made the announcement on Facebook.  

The 8 hours of material is intended to answer the big questions about the russian-Ukrainian war.  

 

All proceeds from the sale of the audiobook will go to humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. 

 

The audiobook will go on sale April 19. 

The Ukrainian edition of On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century was published in 2017 by Meduza Publishing House.

Timothy Snyder is an American historian and author who specializes in the history of Central and Eastern Europe. He is a professor at Yale University.
