Ukrainians in Helsinki received modern literature for adults, teenagers, and kids. This was reported in Facebook by The Ukrainian Community Center — project of The Ukrainian Association in Finland.

Books written by Ukrainian authors and translations of foreign bestsellers were given to communities.

“The book treasures were brought by our old friend star Rymma Ziubina, who was visiting Finland to participate in a charity concert “Elä! Live! Hyväntekeväisyyskonsertti”. Thank you very much, Rymma! Also we thank the director of the Lesya Ukrainka Library Olga Romanyuk for this iniciative,” Community Сenter page said.

The books were given to people thanks to The Lesya Ukrainka Public Library in Kyiv. Ukrainians in Finland should write a comment to the Facebook post if they want to get a book.

As a reminder, activists of The Ukrainian Association in Finland sent about 200 Ukrainian books to various cities in Finland. Also, adult and children’s books in Ukrainian were given to Helsinki Central Library Oodi.
