247 bookstores operating in Ukraine

According to the Ukrainian Book Institute, as of August 2023, there are at least 247 bookstores in Ukraine. The UBI announced this on its Facebook page.

The list includes data from bookstores obtained by Ukrainian Book Institute representatives in a survey conducted in July 2023, as well as data collected from open sources, such as the websites of chain bookstores.

The institute emphasized that all bookstores known to the UBI were invited to participate in the survey. An announcement was posted on social media and on the UBI website. According to the list, there are 10 bookstores in Vinnytsia, 6 in Dnipro, 4 in Zhytomyr, 7 in Ivano-Frankivsk, 66 in Kyiv, 4 in Lutsk, 17 in Lviv, 8 in Odesa, 14 in Rivne, 11 in Kharkiv, etc.
