J.K. Rowling asks to help Ukrainian orphans

British writer and author of Harry Potter Joanne Rowling has launched an appeal to help the 100,000 children trapped in orphanages in Ukraine during the war. The author tweeted about this initiative.

J.K. Rowling is a British author, screenwriter and film producer. The most popular English children’s writer of the early third millennium, the author of a series of novels about Harry Potter.

 

It will be recalled that the cult American writer Stephen King posted his photo in a T-shirt that says «I stand with Ukraine».

 

Also, recently, a photo of the famous American writer Margaret Atwood from a rally in support of Ukraine was posted on the Internet.

 

Hundreds of other writers, including Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk, Frédéric Beigbeder, Yuval Noah Harari, and many other well-known authors, have backed Russia’s end to Ukraine’s invasion.
