The prominent Ukrainian Art Academy was damaged by a Russian missile

Following a Russian missile strike on Kyiv on the morning of March 25th, part of a building belonging to an art academy was destroyed. This information was reported by the institution’s rector, in a commentary provided to Suspilne.

 

A correspondent from Hromadske reported that classes were in session during the attack, and a graduate student was injured. According to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the head of the academy’s laboratory was also injured in the explosion and has been hospitalized.  

 

The missile strike destroyed the indoor sports facility, the congress hall, and the exhibition center. Additionally, the department offices and auditoriums sustained significant damage.

 

 

As previously reported, Russia struck the Kherson Regional Library and destroyed the Hryhoriy Skovoroda Museum.
