The trailer for the prequel “Pet Cemetery” based on Stephen King’s novel has been released

Paramount+ streaming service has released the trailer for “Pet Sematary: Bloodlines” which was a prequel to Pet Sematary movie, based on the 1983 novel of the same name by Stephen King.

 

The plot of the prequel is set in 1969, that is 50 years before the events of the previous film, and tells the story of a young Jud Crandall as he discovers a local cemetery where all the dead can come back to life, without realizing what influence this will have upon his life.

 

 

The horror movie was directed by Lindsay Anderson Beer. He wrote the screenplay with Jeff Buhler. The cast of the movie: Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Henry Thomas, Natalie Alyn Lind, Isabella Star LaBlanc, Samantha Mathis, Pam Grier and David Duchovny.

“Pet Sematary: Bloodlines” will premiere on Sept. 23, 2023. It will be released by Paramount+ on Oct. 6, 2023 in the United States, Canada and Latin America, and the following day in other countries.

 

In 2020 Stephen King sold the rights for movie adaptation to three of his works for three dollars.
