A spring 2022 book rights catalogue has been created and will be distributed by the International Publishers Association (IPA) to encourage foreign publishers to buy rights to Ukrainian literature. The Ukrainian Publishers and Booksellers Association compiled the catalogue.

The association says that the acquisition by foreign colleagues of rights to publish translations of works by Ukrainian authors will provide strong financial assistance to Ukrainian partners and help convey information about Ukraine to people of different countries.

The catalogue consists of 6 volumes and contains books on art, business and economics, education, comics and graphic novels, history, literature for teenagers and other categories. There are also book annotations and author biographies.

The International Book Arsenal Festival together with Chytomo have compiled and published recent catalogues of Ukrainian publishers’ rights. They can be found on the website of the special project Ukrainian Literature: Rights on! There are 49 catalogues of rights to Ukrainian market participants.

In early 2022, the Ukrainian Book Institute compiled and published a catalogue of books recommended for translation – New Books From Ukraine 2021.

In 2021, books by Ukrainian authors were published in 24 countries on four continents as part of the Ukrainian Institute’s Translation Support Program.
