Ukraine presented its stand at the 27th International Book Festival in Budapest. This was reported by the Ukrainian Embassy in Hungary on its Facebook page.

The festival took place from September 29 to October 2 this year.

The visitors of the Ukrainian pavilion had an opportunity to leave some words of solidarity and support for Ukraine and Ukrainian people in a Book of Solidarity with Ukraine.

“We are grateful to the Ukrainian Cultural Association in Hungary, Yaroslava Khortiani and Uliana Kniahynetska for organising the pavilion of Ukrainian books at the 27th International Book Festival,” goes in the Embassy’s post.

Diplomatic institution also mentions that at the shelves of the pavilion one could have found the book Freedom Apostles which was printed in Kharkiv and survived through missile attacks.

It shall be reminded that this year Ukraine will be represented in Frankfurt by 10 writers and 43 publishers.

As is known, the VIII Odesa international literature festival has moved to Batumi this year due to safety reasons.
