A journalist from Lithuania bought 37 drones for Ukraine

Lithuanian journalist Andrius Tapinas launched crowdfunding campaign to raise money for weapons for Ukraine. As a result, 37 kamikaze drones will be transfered to Ukraine. This was announced by the journalist on his Facebook page.

The campaign was dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine. By the end of the campaign Lithuanians donated 1 545 mil euros. 

 

Thus, 1 mil euros will be spent on 27 Polish kamikaze drones Warmate and another 10 drones will be provided to Ukraine by the producing company WB Group for free. 

 

This was confirmed by Lithuania’s Minister of Defense Arvydas Anušauskas on his Twitter. 

 

It shall be also reminded that Lithuanian journalist club held a campaign “Give a car to Ukraine” and sent 33 cars to Ukrainian army.
