Paratype justifies russian pseudo referendums on occupied Ukrainian territories

The CEO of Paratype Anna Yakupova welcomed illegal annexation of Ukrainian territories according to the sham referendums that occupying authorities carried out in temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrainian font designer Serhii Rasskazov in his Twitter.

Paratype believes that the CEO’s statement has nothing to do with the so-called referendums on temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, since “it was out of context” and the company itself as well as all its employees are “united by the love for typography, not by political views”.

Paratype is a russian company, registered in the USA, that creates fonts for navigation, advertisements and web-design. It was founded in 1998. Among its clients there are Google, Apple, Microsoft, Nestle, Wargaming and others.

It shall be reminded, that Georgia has created a font in support of Ukraine.
