russia has committed over 500 crimes against the cultural heritage of Ukraine

There have been committed more than 500 russian war crimes against cultural heritage in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Infromation Policy of Ukraine on its Telegram channel.

“As of today, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has recorded over 500 war crimes russia committed against Ukrainian cultural heritage. This includes damage and destruction of our architectural monuments,” goes in the post. 

 

The MCIP states that architecture is a cultural code of the nation, its history and heritage. 

 

It shall be reminded that as of August, there were 450 cases of russian war crimes against Ukrainian cultural heritage.
