The shock wave smashed glass in most windows of the Kharkiv Art Museum. This was reported on the museum’s Facebook page.

«Our museum is in hard circumstances. The shock wave smashed glass in most windows. The exhibits have not been damaged. The ones, that have been exhibited, are now moved to safer places. However, a sharp temperature and humidity change will later have a negative impact on their condition», – the statement says.

It is also noted that the museum needs the help of volunteers. In particular, they require polyethylene film and plywood panels or boards to reinforce damaged windows.

Besides, 211 schools have been destroyed or damaged since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
