Occupants destroyed and damaged more than 3000 schools

During the full-scale invasion, the occupiers damaged or destroyed 3,051 schools. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.


In addition, 420 schools were completely destroyed. Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk regions were the most affected.


“A significant number of schools in Ukraine continue to work exclusively online due to the danger – 4,363 out of almost 13,000 institutions,” said Dmytro Zavhorodniy, General Director of the Digital Transformation Directorate. According to him, 1.6 million students are studying remotely.

As a reminder, as of December 12, 2022, more than 2,800 schools in Ukraine were damaged or destroyed.
