In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Russians are issuing fines to parents whose children study in Ukrainian schools. This was reported on the website of the Center for National Resistance.

“Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories continue to study in online schools, but Russians are trying to stop this by force and force schoolchildren into propaganda centers. Thus, in the temporarily occupied territories, they have created “commissions on minors’ affairs” that use fake courts to fine parents for their children’s education in Ukrainian schools,” the statement said.

According to the center, the commissions organize raids, especially at the places of residence of children who miss many classes in “Russian schools.” During the inspections, the occupiers pay attention to laptops and tablets that children use to study.

The Center for National Resistance notes that Russian schools in the occupied territories are purely propagandistic, and that is why it is important for Russians to limit children’s access to education and immerse them in the “Russian world”. In schools, children are being Russified and imposed on the Kremlin’s worldview and its vision of history.

As previously reported, in the occupied territories, Russians are holding children hostage in schools. In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, the occupiers prohibit parents from entering schools, and children are searched with metal detectors.
